Author Guidelines

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to the Journal of Economic, Management and Business Studies (JEMBS) are required to follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth submission and review process.

1. Submission Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Submissions must be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia using academic language.

  • All submissions must go through online submission via the journal's website or by email (if applicable).

2. Manuscript Structure

Each manuscript should include the following components:

  • Title (clear, concise, max. 15 words)

  • Author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s)

  • Abstract (150–250 words) with 3–5 keywords

  • Introduction (includes background, problem formulation, objectives)

  • Literature Review (if applicable)

  • Methodology

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion and Suggestions

  • References (APA 7th edition)

3. Formatting Guidelines

  • Use A4 paper, 1.15 spacing, Margins: 2.5 cm all sides.

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.

  • Tables and figures must be numbered, titled, and referenced in the text.

  • Citations and references must follow APA Style (7th Edition).

  • Manuscripts should be 5,000–8,000 words in length.

4. Review Process

  • All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review.

  • Reviewers will evaluate originality, clarity, methodology, and relevance.

  • The average review time is approximately 4–6 weeks.

5. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must ensure the manuscript is free of plagiarism.

  • Ethical approval must be stated for studies involving human participants or data.

  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.

6. Copyright and Open Access

  • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right to first publication.

  • Articles are published under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license.

  • All content is open access and freely available to the public.
