VOKASINDO: Jurnal Terapan Bisnis, Agribisnis, dan Informatika is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. All submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism detection screening to ensure originality and to prevent academic misconduct.

Plagiarism Definition

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

Direct copying of text, ideas, data, or images without proper citation

Substantial similarity to previously published works

Self-plagiarism or redundant publication without clear disclosure

Improper paraphrasing without attribution

Duplicate or salami publication

Any form of plagiarism is considered a serious violation of publication ethics.

All submitted manuscripts will be screened using reliable plagiarism detection software, such as:

iThenticate

Grammarly Plagiarism Checker

or equivalent professional tools

Similarity Threshold

To ensure academic originality, VOKASINDO applies the following similarity index criteria:

≤ 15% → Acceptable, can proceed to peer review

16–25% → Minor revision required

26–35% → Major revision required

> 35% → Automatically rejected

Note: Similarity originating from references, methodology descriptions, standard expressions, or properly cited quotations is excluded from evaluation.

Editorial Actions

If plagiarism is detected:

The manuscript will be returned to the author for clarification or revision.

In cases of serious plagiarism, the manuscript will be rejected immediately.

Repeated violations may result in author blacklisting for a defined period.

The editorial board reserves the right to retract published articles if plagiarism is discovered post-publication.

Author Responsibilities

Authors must:

Ensure the originality of their submissions

Properly cite and reference all sources

Avoid redundant or duplicate publication

Submit a signed Statement of Originality and Copyright Transfer

Post-Publication Plagiarism Handling

If plagiarism is detected after publication:

The journal will conduct a thorough investigation

If confirmed, a retraction notice will be issued

The article will be removed or watermarked as Retracted
